Introduction to Forui Gold Extraction Equipment
There is elemental gold in sand gold ore with the appearance like granular, flake or twig. Monomer dissociation degree is high and the particle size is generally 0.5-2mm. For sand gold ore, mineral processing mainly includes gravity separation–amalgamation. Barren rock will be sieving out before gravity separation to avoid barren rock block screen. Except gold, sand gold ore contains other heavy minerals. They can be recovered by gravity separation. Sand gold ore contains many cemented mud pie. The mud pie will run off with barren rock if not broken. Therefore, the mud pie should be broken and sieving by rotary screen. Rotary Screen is a kind of roller type screening equipment. The screening size for sand gold ore generally is 10-20mm.
After sieving, the next process is gravity separation. Gravity separator separates separating two components, either a suspension or dry granular mixture where separating the components with gravity is sufficiently practical: i.e. the components of the mixture have different specific weight. Some can be used as the finished ore, some need to use a jig and shaking for gravity separation. Washing overflow sometimes also need gravity separation or strong magnetic separation for further recycling. Because of Mining dilution, for some connate deposit of oxide manganese ore, heavy medium and jig are used for gravity separation to remove the gangue and get massive concentrate.
After gravity separation, amalgamation recovers gold from ore by combining them with mercury. The amalgamation barrel is used for refining gold from gold ore, fine ore, etc, and extracting gold recoveries up to 98%. This gold extraction equipment has high recovery rate, and low mercury consumption while most of the mercury is recycled.
